About a month ago, I decided to pick it back up and get it done before Christmas. The painting is from a photo of my mother's older brother who was a Cook 2nd Class in the Air Force at Pearl Harbor after the attack. My Uncle Paul was a character and I knew him much later only as a chicken farmer from Luling Texas. </div><br /><br /><div>I worked late Friday night around 4 hours and made good progress on Paul's apron (far left). Also worked on the background tile grout. The aprons are supposed to be white, but I'm experimenting with a different color for each one.
